Baby kissingSpecialised Assessment of Psychological Intervention to Parenting including full psychological assessment of child/young person. This could include psychometric measures such as the Assessment Checklist for Children; Behaviour Rating Inventory of Executive Function, Strengths & Difficulties Questionnaire; Trauma Symptoms Inventory. Parenting Stress Index. Additionally a full assessment of child/young person’s developmental trauma, trauma history and Parent/Carer’s profile is included. The assessment includes recommendation for intervention to parenting to enable trauma recovery and placement stability.

Direct consultation with a Chartered Psychologist or Specialist Psychological Assistant. Consultation is directed by the intervention plan from the assessment report. Sessions are 90 minutes in length and can be offered on a weekly, monthly or 6 weekly basis.

Support Group offering a safe space for a group of Parents/Carers to explore psychological issues
related to parenting. Facilitated by Chartered Psychologist and Specialist Psychological Assistant

Crisis Support additional sessions at times of heightened need focussed on understanding what has
triggered the crisis and enabling speedy recovery and placement stability.
